According to Odaily, Trinity College Dublin has announced a collaboration with cryptocurrency company Ripple to establish a new blockchain research program. This initiative will focus on addressing challenges in the fields of cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, and financial technology. The project is set to receive funding of $200,000 (approximately €194,531) over a two-year period. Notably, Trinity College becomes the first university in Ireland to receive support through Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI).
