According to PANews, renowned crypto trader Eugene, known as 0xENAS, addressed controversies surrounding his identity and actions on the X platform. He confirmed his identity as Darryl Wang, co-founder of Tangent Ventures, but emphasized that the 0xENAS account is solely his personal creation, management, and execution, documenting only his personal trades and unrelated to Tangent's investment activities.

Eugene refuted allegations of selling undisclosed VC allocations, price manipulation, paid promotions, and falsifying trade records. He stated that his trading activities are entirely separate from Tangent's angel investments, which are subject to lock-up periods, making it impossible to profit through trading. Additionally, he denied accepting any form of paid promotion and highlighted that his trading records are transparent, with profits derived solely from personal capital operations.

Eugene also revealed that an anonymous account recently attempted to expose his identity and threatened his family, which he condemned, asserting that he would not retaliate against malicious defamers. He stated that this would be his only response to the allegations and that he remains focused on the long-term development of the crypto sector.

Previously, sources indicated that trader Eugene is a co-founder of Tangent Ventures and an early investor in the ENA token seed round.
