Crypto asset law is coming to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

After the holiday, the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) started its work again. As of today, Turkish cryptocurrency investors will have their eyes on the Turkish Grand National Assembly. The bill regarding the crypto market will be discussed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly today.
It is expected that the bill that will amend the Capital Markets Law will be discussed in the Turkish Grand National Assembly shortly.
In this bill, the establishment and start-up operations of major crypto asset service providers will be discussed. In the proposal, these companies must also obtain permission from the CMB. Imprisonment and judicial fines are foreseen for those who operate without permission.

In addition, if this bill becomes law, 1% of the income generated by crypto platforms throughout the year, excluding interest, is expected to be transferred to CMB and 1% to TÜBİTAK.
