Nearly 100 million shares of BlackRock's Bitcoin funds traded on Thursday, setting a new daily volume record.
BlackRock's Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) has again broken a daily trading volume record, while BTC fell 6% from its daily high during the US trading day.
Barchart data from March 14 shows that the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) fund traded 99.3 million shares on the day, a trading volume of more than $3.9 billion and surpassing its previous volume record of $3.7 billion set ago less than 10 days, March 5.
It came as BTC fell 6% from its daily high during the US trading day, which has since begun to recover.
