I want to share a little personal opinion about ETH, Altcoin (not including BTC)
Currently, the recovery momentum from altcoins is very strong and fast, so please pay special attention not to short from now on. You can gain 30-50%, but you must set a stop-loss absolutely. However, the psychological traps from flash pumps will make you complacent and remove your stop-loss.
Especially for newcomers, you should not short, only short when you feel confident enough to cut losses in time and do not remove the stop-loss when it is hit.
At this moment, altcoins are ready to pump if there is capital flow; X2-X3 is very easy in one H4 candle, so shorting during the altcoin season is the worst mistake.
For example, if today altcoins rise but BTC's candle is bad, you can close part of your long position (only keep spot) and wait to adjust DCA to add long volume.
You cannot long at the bottom and short at the top, so keep the strategy simple.
Long 1-2% of the account, if it profits, close half and raise the stop-loss to entry; if you hit the stop-loss and break even, wait for another entry to long.
You cannot go all in on a long position at once and just wait; the reason is that you will get swept on both ends of the uptrend, so you can only hold spot if you want to buy once.
Just wait for an adjustment to long up.
The larger frame 1W ETH and Altcoin look very nice, almost at the bottom now.
DOM also confirms the downtrend.
So, keep your hands off the short button.
I have witnessed BTC fluctuating around 9,000$ just like ETH below 4,000$ right now.
And when BTC rises from 9k to 60k, it happens very quickly, and you won't know where the peak is.
