š„š±Donald Trump believes that Volodymyr Zelensky is prepared to negotiate a peace deal with Russiaā, which could involve ceding Crimea.
When asked by reporters on Sunday evening whether he thinks Zelensky is ready to "give up" the territory seized by Russia in 2014, Trump responded, "Oh, I think so."
Speaking before boarding Air Force One, the U.S. President also described his meeting with Zelensky at Pope Francisās funeral as very positive.
"It was a lovely meeting. It was a beautiful meeting," he said.
