Just last month, I successfully shipped a large order to a customer in Canada — my first North American client. The process involved careful product selection, packaging, working with a freight forwarder, and ensuring all export documents were correct. I also had to deal with payment systems and currency conversion, which I learned about through online training.

This trade meant more than profit — it validated my business model and showed that young people can make a mark in global markets. It also created more work for the artisans I partner with, most of whom are from rural communities. The journey hasn't been easy, but the experience has been empowering. It proves that with access to the right tools, information, and networks, youth can lead the future of trade and bring innovation to the global economy.
