CryptoPunk NFT Seller Pleads Guilty to Filing False Tax Returns

A recent report stated that a man pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns regarding his sales of NFT tokens.
NFT tokens have garnered increased attention from regulators in recent months.
Over the weekend, the cryptocurrency market witnessed a brief bullish return, delighting investors. Bitcoin regained $86,000 after last week's crash. Although it has currently returned to the $84,000 level, it has sparked hope for a market recovery.

Meanwhile, Trump’s coin “MemeCoin,” “Official Trump,” is set to launch more tokens this week. On the other hand, in Pennsylvania, a cryptocurrency trader faces charges from a federal court. He pleaded guilty to omitting 97 transactions from CryptoPunk NFTs between 2021 and 2022.

According to the report, Wylon Wilcox did not file tax returns for his profits of $13 million from CryptoPunk sales. He stated that he sold 62 punk coins in 2021 and 35 coins in 2022. He achieved a total of 97 unique NFT coins generating the mentioned profits.

The Pennsylvania Department of Justice stated that he could face a prison sentence of up to 6 years for committing this felony.

$ACT I see bunch of people complaining that $ACT is a shit coin, it made them loss X amount of money. and talking bad about this coin. But no one says they loss money because of their own misjudgement or wrong trade management. i myself is stuck in $ACT i bought at 0.4 something but with right money managment now my avg buying is 0.3376 and i know it will give me a chance to book little profit. So, i think people should stop blaming any coin or market, we know market is corrupt yet we are trading in this market and we need to work on ourself in order to make money out of it. it's been 1 year and 4 months since i have started trading and i have a long way to go, I have lost 80% of my portfolio just to see if i could have waited I'll be in profit. but i did what i did and i think it was necessary for me to learn from my mistakes and make progress. Everyone know this but people are needed to be reminded.
Moral of story: Market is bigger than you and only way to win in this industry is to never quit.
