US President Donald Trump published on his social network Truth Social an image — an invitation to a private dinner for holders of the Official Trump (TRUMP) token, launched by his team in January of this year. Information about the private dinner for TRUMP holders appeared back in late April, but Trump himself had not commented on it until today.
The event is scheduled for May 22 and will take place at Trump National Club in Washington. Invitations will be sent to the 220 largest holders of the token, according to the terms posted on the project's website, and the top 25 holders will additionally be invited to a VIP meeting with the president and a tour. To participate in the event, users must authenticate via a crypto wallet.
On April 23, when an invitation for token holders to dinner with the US head appeared on the TRUMP memecoin website, the token's price increased by about 60%. In the two days following that, Trump and his team earned nearly $900,000 in trading fees from this memecoin, NBC News reported, citing data from Chainalysis.#TrampAtDAS
