I’m someone who grew up with a poor single mum. Life didn’t hand us much, but I worked my way up, into private jobs, government jobs, lecturing, and later struggling into small business ownership. Every opportunity I had came from learning, hustling, and trusting my gut. But in the world of crypto, I learned that gut feeling isn’t always enough, you need knowledge, and you need the right platform.
Back in the early 2020s, I had a glimpse of what #Binance was. The app was even sitting on my phone — untouched, unexplored, and unknown. Like many, I had heard of it, seen people talk about it, but never really understood how it worked. My understanding of crypto at the time? Just surface-level curiosity.
Then came the turning point.
A verified user on Telegram reached out to me. Everything about them looked legit — verified profile, smooth talk, and a clear promise: “I’ll help you trade and grow your money.” At that time, I didn’t know what to be cautious about. Their approach was persuasive, step-by-step, patient even. They introduced me to a trading platform — I can’t even remember the name today. But back then, it felt like the start of something great.
At first, it was working.
I was smoothly transferring #USDT from that platform to Binance and vice versa — no issues. I was shown how to trade, and it was exciting. Everything looked real, felt real, and the results were motivating. One day, I was asked to deposit $300 #USDT into that platform to increase my trading volume. I did it — and boom, it became $600 #USDT. I felt like a genius.
But then came the red flag.
To withdraw the $600 #USDT I had "earned," I was told I needed to deposit another $500 #USDT. That made no sense. Suddenly, the clarity I had disappeared. The confidence was gone. I was discouraged, confused, and eventually walked away — heart heavy and wallet lighter.
It hurts.
But sometimes, life teaches the hardest lessons before giving the greatest opportunities.
Now, after years, I’m back. Back to Binance. Back with a new mindset. I’m no longer rushing or trying to flip #big_profits overnight. I’m #learning slowly, investing little by little, and growing step by step.
Because now I understand:
One small step in #Binance business is a big step in the brick-and-mortar world.
#Crypto isn’t just about quick money — it’s about #learning, patience, and growth. I was scammed, yes. But in the end, that painful experience led me to truly understand the value of real platforms, real tools, and real education.
So here I am — rebuilding, relearning, and re-earning the right way.
And maybe, just maybe, this story helps someone else avoid the trap I fell into.
