According to Foresight News, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released a discussion paper on Friday, seeking opinions on intermediaries, staking, lending, and decentralized finance (DeFi). The FCA stated on its website that specific cryptocurrency activities will fall under its regulatory scope once legislation is enacted. The deadline for submitting feedback is June 13, 2025. The FCA plans to consult on the final framework later this year after reviewing responses to the discussion paper.
