Patrick McHenry has officially joined the a16z fund as a senior advisor on technology policy.

McHenry is no stranger to AE crypto. While in office, he pushed hard for the Financial Innovation Act to give crypto a clear foothold, even criticizing SEC Chairman Gary Gensler for his ambiguous management style that made it difficult for the crypto industry.
