A wave of Snapchat outage reports has emerged from across Pakistan, especially affecting users in Punjab and Sindh. Cities like Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi reported the highest disruption levels.
According to Downdetector, problem reports peaked over the last 24 hours, suggesting a widespread service issue.
The majority of users (56%) experienced problems with the app itself, while others reported issues with sharing (26%) and uploading (18%). Downdetector's heat map showed that the disruption wasn't limited to a single region, confirming a broader technical glitch rather than isolated incidents.
Although Snapchat has not released an official explanation, tech experts suspect the cause may be linked to server-side problems or bugs from a recent update. Interestingly, many users reported the app works normally when accessed through a VPN, hinting at possible region-specific connectivity blocks.
