Regarding the news of the frozen Binance account that is circulating, Binance has frozen a number of "small" user accounts based on an official request from the PPATK (Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center), the Indonesian government agency responsible for monitoring suspicious financial transactions. We understand from the PPATK that these accounts are related to an ongoing investigation.

Accounts will not be blocked or locked without valid reasons. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure trading environment, certain actions or activities may trigger security mechanisms that could lead to restrictions on the account.

Actually, guys, as far as I know, our accounts can be reported by Binance at any time if there are suspicious activities, and this is a form of cooperation by exchanges to improve the crypto climate.

Dear Binance,
Just read someone post stating that some accounts in Binance are freezed due to request from PPATK Indonesia.
Can anyone confirm this? What are the criterias used to decide which accounts to freeze?
We just need to know so we can take necessary precautions. Many of us are just regular investors, with limited funds which can’t justify the use for cold wallet yet.
