According to Binance, the new general manager will lead operations and strategies in one of the most dynamic cryptocurrency markets in Latin America. He thus joins the regional team led by Guilherme Nazar, regional vice president of Binance for Latin America. "It is an honor to join the Binance team to lead efforts in Argentina and the Southern Cone markets. This is a very important region for Binance and the crypto industry in general, and we want to continue working to meet the concrete needs of businesses and individuals," Ondarra commented.
Binance indicated that Andrés has over twenty years of local and international experience in financial services, and has established himself as a relevant leader in the fintech and crypto industry in Latin America. He was recognized among the 100 most influential CEOs in Argentina in 2022 by Horse Data Consulting; his career includes key roles in the fintech industry, investment banking, and global finance, at companies such as Bitso, BTG Pactual, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, and Banza.
