As promised, I'll be answering questions users have about the migration from $MATIC to POL and what it means for the Polygon ecosystem.
Why is Polygon replacing MATIC with POL?
Polygon is looking to improve the functionality and flexibility of its network with the launch of the POL token. The latter is designed to better integrate with Polygon 2.0 and its AggLayer, an infrastructure that will allow multiple blockchains to coexist and communicate efficiently. POL therefore offers more opportunities for development and governance within the Polygon ecosystem.

We are pleased to inform the community that in cooperation with law enforcement, PlayDapp has identified most of the invalidly minted tokens, and over 90% of affected PLA tokens have been successfully migrated to PDA tokens. The remaining tokens are being processed and will be completed soon.

Pi Network Scam of the year. Before the 2 hour of unlock all the pi coin transfer form wallet to pi app..this happened with everyone user. This is the Most Scam Project I ever seen..every thing was good after kyc and 9th step completed...before the time of unblock they stolen everyone's coins without any reason

This change addresses challenges with current SMS (text message) account verification, improves security, and lays the groundwork for future verification methods like passkeys and biometrics. To ensure a secure shift, system level analytics and checks were required to validate how Pioneers verify their accounts using the new method, which led to a temporary pause in migrations.
