I am honored to be invited. Last night, I tested the newly released card chain game Cyber Crash from the Metacene team. I played for 3 hours, reached level 20, and achieved a combat power of 6516, ranking 9th on the new server's limited-time challenge leaderboard.

Having been stuck in low-quality Web3 games for a long time, I feel a sense of appreciation when I encounter a good one. Cyber Crash is such a game that evokes this feeling; I played all night without encountering a single bug, and the experience was incredibly smooth. I haven't felt this kind of enjoyment in a long time.

During the 3 hours of testing, I didn't get a chance to experience the game's token economic system, which is expected to be gradually released in the upcoming game content. I will continue testing in the coming days. I also provided a few suggestions to the project team, the main one being: in the game's tutorial for newcomers, it should inform players in text where they can win rewards and how those rewards are linked to the blockchain. If the economic system relies solely on word of mouth from the community, it can be exhausting for players. I really dislike having to search for token economics in the game's official Twitter and Discord communities or read lengthy and tedious white papers.

Since it's a game, why can't everything be explained to players through tutorials within the game? Must they jump out of the game to find documents on Twitter, Discord, or the official website? Must they wander around like fools asking others?

The previous chain game from the Cyber Crash team, Metacene, is hard to say was a success. Once the economic system of a chain game collapses, it is very difficult to recover. A new start is indeed worth looking forward to, especially after two years of various pitfalls; I can empathize with the project team's struggles. Cyber Crash needs to redeem itself.

19 years ago, I was part of the same Chinese game industry delegation as investor Boss Tan from Metacene, departing from Shanghai to attend the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. We are old friends. I fully understand why seasoned Web2 game professionals are venturing into Web3 games.

I will continue to pay attention to Cyber Crash and share the situation of this game test.
