⚠️ I Lost $4,000 in a P2P Scam — Don’t Make the Same Mistake 💸☠️💸
I’m sharing this painful lesson so you don’t have to learn it the hard way.
🗓️ What Happened:
A few months ago, I listed some USDT for sale on a P2P platform. Soon after, a buyer reached out — everything looked legit:
✅ 97% trade completion
✅ Great feedback
✅ Verified profile
He sent over a flawless-looking payment receipt: transaction ID, timestamp — the works. Thinking it was all good…
I clicked “Confirm Receipt.”
Big mistake.
⏳ The payment never came.
📞 I called my bank — no incoming transfer.
💬 Contacted Binance — but since I already confirmed, they couldn’t help.
👻 Tried messaging the buyer? Blocked. Gone. Disappeared.
💔 Where I Went Wrong (So You Don’t Have To):
❌ Trusted a screenshot instead of my actual bank account
❌ Confirmed before the funds were physically there
❌ Ignored tiny red flags because I was in a rush
🚨 How to Protect Yourself in P2P Trades:
1️⃣ Only confirm when you see the money in your account.
2️⃣ Never trust screenshots — they’re easy to fake.
3️⃣ If someone pressures you to confirm, walk away. Pressure = Red flag.
I lost $4,000 just trying to save time.
Take your time. Double-check everything.
One click can cost you everything.
