After failing to hold the $1,850 support, Ethereum has been trading in a bearish channel, reflecting increasing selling pressure. The 50-day moving average has crossed below the 200-day moving average, forming a "death cross," a bearish signal that often precedes further declines. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is below 30, indicating that Ethereum is in oversold territory. Ether (ETH) has been trading near the resistance line of its triangle pattern for five straight days, showing that the bulls are holding strong. A breakout above this level could send ETH soaring to $2,850. If buyers manage to maintain momentum, a rebound off the 20-day EMA ($2,523) could ignite a push toward $3,400.
But caution is key! If Ether’s price dips below the moving averages, the bullish momentum could fizzle out, leaving ETH stuck in its triangle pattern for a while longer.

$ETH $2700 Is Becoming The New Resistance And The Reason Is This 👇🏽
The Price is getting rejected due to the Bearish Fair Value Gap. ❌❌
The drastic fall from July 30th - Aug 5th saw a huge decline in prices and created a big fair value gap when closing was below $2700 on Sunday, Aug 4th.
A strong reversal came into play with multiple attempts to break the resistance at $2700 (lower trendline of rectangle), but rejected every time. A rejection from this level shows that the price is respecting the FVG and there could be further decline as well. So, the FVG stays valid.
But if we take a look at the chart again, the bullish FVG formed a few weeks ago became invalid since the price came breaking down sharp and quick with the day's closing not just below the FVG but also below $3200. After this a retest occurred when the price broke the bullish FVG but closed inside the box and it started to go down again the very next day.
Hence for ETH to make an upside move, the price needs to close above the bearish FVG. Once it does that, it'll retest the support again and will continue its rise. And this FVG will become invalid.
When people ask me "How do you trade? What's your setup?" I simply reply "I trade FVG's".

Testing New Trading Strategy 🚀
While waiting for the CPI data today, I used the time to develop a new trading strategy. Actually my first strategy that utilizes the Hull Moving Average.
The early results are promising, but there's still room for fine-tuning.
Positives:
👉 Profit Rate: Looks solid, indicating the strategy's potential.
👉 Max Drawdown: Manageable, with opportunities to reduce it further.
👉 Capital Curve: Not bad for a first draft, showing steady growth.
Negatives:
👉 Net Profit: Currently extremely low in relation to the number of trades. This will need attention as I refine the strategy.
The strategy combines the Stochastic Oscillator with HMA to capture momentum shifts while using optional filters like RSI, ADX, MFI, EMA, VWAP, and ATR to refine entries and exits.
This is still a work in progress, but the foundation is strong.
