Binance to List Balance (EPT) on Alpha and Futures
Binance has announced that the Balance (EPT) token will be available for trading on its Alpha platform starting April 21, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. UTC. At the same time, Binance Futures will launch the EPTUSDT Perpetual Contract with up to 20x leverage, starting at 1:00 p.m. UTC.
Binance is the first platform to list EPT for both Alpha and Futures trading.
To celebrate the launch, 3,500 EPT tokens will be airdropped to eligible users. To qualify, users must have made purchases on Binance Alpha using Spot or Funding accounts between April 11 and April 17, 2025. Airdropped tokens will be added to user accounts by 12:10 p.m. UTC on April 21.
The EPTUSDT Perpetual Contract:
Is settled in USDT.
Has a funding rate limit of +2.00%/-2.00%.
Settles funding every 4 hours.
Can be traded 24/7.
Supports Multi-Assets Mode, allowing margin use with other assets like BTC (with adjustments).
Binance may adjust settings like funding rates or leverage based on market conditions. Within 24 hours of launch, this contract will also be available for Futures Copy Trading.
Note: Listing EPT on Binance Futures doesn’t mean it will be available on Binance Spot. For the most accurate details, refer to the official English announcement.
