Pavel Durov spoke publicly about the Notcoin project for the first time in the spring of 2024 on his official Telegram channel. He emphasized the unprecedented interest in the game within Telegram and the fact that "millions of people earned [on the token] just by using the app in Telegram," thanks to the ability to convert in-game coins into cryptocurrency.
