The Korean blockchain game project Delabs had its token generation event (TGE) this afternoon on Binance Alpha. After observing for several hours, I noticed that the token price has held fairly steady, with a slight increase in between.
This is not easy; it is clear that the project team, major holders, and investors have not sold off to cash in, and they are actively managing the market cap. The retail investors who participated in the TGE have sold off their tokens, which did not significantly impact the token price. Currently, the fully diluted valuation (FDV) is still at 48 million USD, which means this project has managed to stabilize.
Now, I have to bring up another underperforming Korean blockchain game project, Gomble Games, for comparison. It also launched on Binance Alpha, but Gomble launched its token in April at a better timing, and its current market cap is 11 million USD. This is what I meant when I said that selling all the tokens was not enough compared to the 10 million USD investment made by large funds like YZLabs and Spartan at a valuation of 100 million USD last April. Gomble Games' official Twitter account has not been updated for 5 days and is no longer being maintained.

The Korean chain game platform project DeLabs is approaching TGE.
I played DeLabs' game for a while on Telegram last year, but then I stopped. Not only DeLabs' chain games, but actually all the chain games that were purchased and operated on Telegram, I no longer play. DeLabs also released a Kaia mini-game on Line, but both of my Line accounts have been banned, so I missed the chance to play the version on Line.
It's still best to post traditional games on Telegram. By relying on a fun casual mini-game matrix, purchasing operations attract small casual players to recharge, with monthly cards priced at $0.99 / $1.99 / $9.99 / up to $39.99, and generating revenue through micro transactions.
I feel that the method of purchasing operations on Telegram is no longer suitable for chain games that can survive in this cycle. The era of games like Catizen/Hamster on TG that relied on Tap2Earn gameplay to create large circles and issue tokens has passed. The Tap2Earn type has long been unable to sustain itself.
For chain games to avoid collapse after TGE, they need to focus on high FDV players and conduct refined community operations, using engaging gameplay with depth but not overly complicated controls to attract high FDV users into a fair and transparent PVP mechanism, allowing winners to take all while losers feel satisfied and believe they can win, prompting them to spend more money to come back—thus driving the token economic cycle of chain games.
The Web3 big and medium-sized players that require intensive operations for chain game projects are all within Web3 social networks, in WeChat groups, among the fan audiences of major Web3 KOLs, and in pure Web3 public and private domains like Binance Square.
Relying on purchasing operations will not attract them into chain games. Merely relying on product mechanisms to operate for big and medium players in chain games on Telegram is also insufficient.
However, even though I haven't played DeLabs' games, everyone should still participate in the TGE new token opportunity from Binance Alpha (I myself have stopped using Binance Alpha).
