Coinbase was hacked.
Up to $400 Million at Risk!
Big trouble just hit Coinbase, one of the world’s biggest crypto exchanges. Hackers found a way to steal personal info from about 84,000 users by bribing a customer support worker overseas. This may cost Coinbase up to $400 million!
The stolen data includes names, addresses, phone numbers, and government ID photos. Luckily, no passwords, private keys, or crypto funds were taken. But the danger is real—and the damage is big.
The hackers tried to demand $20 million in ransom. But Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong refused to pay. Instead, he launched a $20 million bounty to help catch the criminals behind this attack.
Coinbase promises to fully refund any affected users and is working with police to track down the hackers. The company is also making its internal security stronger to stop this from happening again.

Golden Finance reports that Mastercard has partnered with cryptocurrency payment company MoonPay to launch stablecoin payment card services for 150 million merchants globally. This service is based on the technology framework of the stablecoin payment company Iron, which MoonPay acquired in March of this year, and will automatically convert to fiat currency during transactions.

According to Odaily, a recent 13F report reveals that billionaire George Soros' investment fund has made significant investments in satellite manufacturer AST SpaceMobile Inc., a competitor of SpaceX, and tech giant Nvidia. At the same time, the fund has sold shares in Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and other large tech companies.
