Today, the Sui Foundation and Mysten Labs announced Sui Basecamp, the first global conference dedicated to the Sui ecosystem and a celebration of the builders and entrepreneurs who have built on the Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform Sui, where the first contributors are the technology team. Meta's blockchain project emerged from Diem.
Thursday April April 10th and Thursday April 11th, 2024, Sui Basecamp, a premier event for the wider web3 ecosystem, will take place in Paris and will welcome builders and partners from all over the world as the web3 community descends on the city of lights. It's Paris Blockchain Week.
On both days, well-known speakers from within and outside Sui will be announced in the coming weeks, and the topics of conversation will range from macro comments about the industry as a whole to economics, cryptography, regulation and the Move programming language. Attendees can expect insightful keynote speakers, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and extensive activations designed to engage and entertain while connecting with like-minded individuals shaping the future of decentralized technologies such as DeFi, NFTs and more.
Evan Cheng, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mysten Labs, the first contributor to Sui, said: "Almost a year after our mainnet launch, Basecamp will be a celebration of all the ways Sui's ecosystem and its partners have grown and developed.
Early registration tickets are available today through March 1 at discounted prices of US$99. Ticket prices will remain discounted by $149 from March 2 to March 31, then increase to the full price of $299 from April 1 until the event.
