I’ve tested dozens of "decentralized" networks—most require expensive hardware or locked capital. @AutonomysNet is different. You just need spare SSD space. No staking. No ASICs. Just a simple app (Space Acres) I started farming $AI3 with Autonomys last month, intrigued by its mission to make decentralized participation truly accessible. Unlike other networks that require expensive hardware or locked-up capital, Autonomys lets anyone contribute spare SSD space—no staking, no complex setup. _______________________________________ What stands out? ✅ Lightweight & Fast – Space Acres runs smoothly in the background, even on my older laptop. ✅ Real Decentralization – Over 1,200 farmers globally contribute 600PB+ of storage, not just big players. ✅ Transparent Rewards – Earnings are consistent, and payouts are reliable. In a month, I’ve earned a steady stream of $AI3—nothing life-changing yet, but it’s passive income from unused storage. ___________________________________ Room for Improvement? My Autonomys Farming Journey: Building with Purpose, Farming with TrustWhen I first heard of Autonomys, I was intrigued by its core mission—building a decentralized AI infrastructure where everyone could contribute meaningfully. I joined during the early Testnet phase, drawn not just by the tech, but by the vision: true decentralization driven by everyday users. Since then, I’ve become an active farmer on the network—and it’s been one of the most rewarding Web3 experiences I’ve had. What I love about farming Autonomys Unlike traditional mining or staking models, Autonomys makes participation easy. No need for GPUs or huge capital—just everyday hardware and a willingness to contribute. The setup took less than 10 minutes, and within a day I was already contributing SSD space and earning $AI3. There’s a sense of ownership here—of being early in something truly innovative. Watching the network grow with farmers across 60+ countries and 600+ PB of storage pledged is both inspiring and validating. Results and insights Farming on Autonomys has helped me: Deepen my understanding of decentralized infrastructureEarn $AI3 passively while supporting real AI computation and storageConnect with a growing community of builders and contributors If you’re new, my tip is simple: read the docs, join the Discord, and just start. The process is beginner-friendly, and the community is super helpful. Where it can improve Honest take? More transparency around upcoming incentives and storage verification would make it even better. I’d love to see a clearer dashboard or leaderboard system to track performance and milestones over time. But I trust the team is listening—and building in public. What is Autonomys Farming Like? While #bitcoin is trying to break above 95k, the most talked about altcoins by #Binance users today were #ETH $SUI $OM and $XRP tokens. Today, I will be talking about my #Autonomysfarming experiences. As I mentioned before, Autonomys Network was a popular AI project #SocialMining @DAOLabs Autonomys farming offers a truly democratic experience in the Web3 world. You can become a farmer on any consumer-grade computer using the Space Acres app. All you need is 4 CPU cores, 8GB of RAM, and 100GB of SSD storage. The setup process is very fast – it can be completed in less than 5 minutes on Linux, Windows, or macOS. The syncing and plotting process can slow down your computer a bit at first, but once it’s done, the system runs smoothly in the background. What I like about Autonomys farming is that it really has a low barrier to entry. There’s no expensive equipment or staking required. You can even use a standard laptop from your home. The reward structure of the system is also fair; you often earn $AI3 rewards for the storage and consensus you contribute. The network is accessible to everyone, giving it a real sense of decentralization. What Could Be Improved? The interface and documentation could be a bit more explanatory for new users. More detailed information about what the system does, especially during the initial syncing process, would be helpful. Also, more visible announcements of technical updates from time to time would help farmers manage the process better. Establishing regional support teams would also be a big plus for users in different countries. When and How Did I Start? I joined farming during the Autonomys testnet. Since I believed in the vision of the network, when I saw that I met the basic hardware requirements, I immediately set up Space Acres and pledged my first domain. After filling out a simple application form and following a few basic steps, I set up my own farm on my standard laptop at home. The installation literally took less than 10 minutes! The fact that the installation process was so fast and smooth really increased my confidence in the project. Tips for New Users Be patient at the beginning! The initial synchronization process can take time, but once it is complete, the system is really low maintenance. Be careful not to overstress your hardware at the beginning. The system is already optimized, even small SSDs are valuable. Staying connected with the community will help you get quick answers to your questions. What I found most striking about the farming system is that Autonomys really supports regular hardware. It doesn’t require a network, large servers, or expensive hardware. It makes lightweight, energy-efficient farming accessible to everyone. Also, the “no staking, no expensive rigs” approach is very refreshing. What impressed me the most was Autonomys’ “lightweight” farming concept. It runs in the background under normal usage and barely interferes with daily computing activities. This is a feature that is rarely seen in Web3.

My Journey into Autonomys Farming: A Farmer’s Honest TakeI want to acquaint you with some of my experiences. Decentralized infrastructure is only as strong as the users who power it and to me that’s exactly what drew me to farming on Autonomys. I started my journey in March 2025, intrigued by its Proof-of-Archival-Storage (PoAS) model. Unlike passive staking systems, Autonomys farming is active, transparent, and rooted in real contributions to the network. My Set up on my farming node was straightforward. I opted for the Linux .deb package on Ubuntu, allocated 1TB of storage, and forwarded the essential ports (30333 and 30433). To me the initial sync took some time, but the process was smooth and well-documented. What impressed me most was the clear interface—watching sectors sync, plot, and farm in real-time made the whole experience feel alive and meaningful. What personally truly sets Autonomys apart for me is its reward mechanism. Personally instead of relying on token weight or idle staking, rewards are based on actual storage committed. It’s fair, logical, and aligns with the mission of building a censorship-resistant data layer for the internet. You're not just earning tokens; you’re reinforcing the network. I want to encourage newcomers to have a few tips: start small—maybe 500GB to 1TB—to get a feel for it. Use SSDs for plotting to speed up the process. Make sure your ports are properly forwarded, as it directly affects your farming efficiency. I want to also emphasize that, the “Reduce CPU Load” setting is helpful if you’re farming on a machine you also use for daily tasks. That said, there’s always room for improvement. Sync times could be faster, and a more detailed dashboard showing historical rewards would be a great addition. I will also say that auto-updating the GUI app would also enhance the user experience for non-technical users. I will personally say that still, Autonomys has impressed me more than most decentralized protocols I’ve interacted with. Farming here isn’t just about ROI—it’s about being part of something bigger: a network built on real utility, real users, and a truly decentralized future. #AutonomysFarming @AutonomysNet #StablecoinPayments #AltcoinETFsPostponed #Dogecoin‬⁩ $BTC $ETH $BNB {spot}(BNBUSDT) {spot}(ETHUSDT)

My Autonomys Farming Experience Farming on Autonomys has been a rewarding and challenging journey for me. I started around January, after an interesting encounter with one of Autonomys’ ambassadors online. I had made a post on X (formerly Twitter), expressing some concerns, and the ambassador reached out to assist me. That conversation opened the door for me to join the farming community, and since then, it’s been an insightful experience. What I find most interesting and unique about #Autonomysfarming is how the tasks are structured. They push you to think beyond your usual limits and encourage deeper engagement with the AI system. Through farming, I have gained a broader understanding of how AI operates, especially within decentralized ecosystems. It’s not just about completing tasks — it’s about learning, adapting, and realizing that the possibilities with AI are endless. One thing I truly love about farming on Autonomys is how it constantly challenges me. Seeing the work of other farmers also inspires me to grow and refine my approach. The competitive yet supportive environment cultivates a great spirit of innovation and motivation. However, there is one area I believe could be improved. When a task submission is rejected, it would be highly beneficial to receive specific feedback explaining why. Simply seeing a “rejected” notice without context can be quite disheartening. Clear feedback would help farmers learn from mistakes and improve future submissions. Overall, my farming experience with Autonomys has been both great and demanding — just the way I like it. Being part of a growing and decentralized AI ecosystem is exciting, and I look forward to continuing this journey. #Autonomysfarming
