Castles of Trust: Dr. Chen Feng's Vision for Confidential AI and the Future of Autonomous AgentsIn a world where AI agents are becoming smarter, faster, and more independent, the question of trust is no longer philosophical—it’s infrastructural. At the heart of this conversation is Dr. Chen Feng, Head of Research at Autonomys Network and a Professor at the University of British Columbia. In his recent podcast appearance on Spilling the TEE, Dr. Feng painted a compelling vision for the future of Confidential AI, with a powerful metaphor: Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) are the castles of digital trust—hardware fortresses that secure AI logic and data from prying eyes. 🧠 What are TEEs—and Why Do They Matter? Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) are secure zones within a processor that isolate and protect computations. Unlike cryptographic methods such as Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), Multi-Party Computation (MPC), or Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)—which often come with performance trade-offs—TEEs offer near-native execution speeds with minimal overhead. As Dr. Feng explains: > "ZKPs and MPC are great for specific use cases, but when we want AI agents to act in real time—on the edge, in the wild—TEEs give us both performance and confidentiality." That’s why #AutonomysNetwork integrates TEEs at the core of its decentralized AI infrastructure. The goal? That’s the kind of assurance the decentralized future demands. 🔎 Solving the Oracle Problem with Verifiability Another key insight from Dr. Feng? Castles of Trust: Dr. Chen Feng's Vision for Confidential AI and the Future of Autonomous Agents

In a world where AI agents are becoming smarter, faster, and more independent, the question of trust is no longer philosophical—it’s infrastructural.

As Dr. Feng explains:
> "ZKPs and MPC are great for specific use cases, but when we want AI agents to act in real time—on the edge, in the wild—TEEs give us both performance and confidentiality."
That’s why #AutonomysNetwork integrates TEEs at the core of its decentralized AI infrastructure. The goal? To enable AI agents that are autonomous, privacy-preserving, and verifiably secure.

🔐 Confidentiality is Non-Negotiable
In the emerging agent-driven Web3 world, data isn’t just valuable—it’s volatile. Dr. Feng stresses that privacy isn't a nice-to-have—it’s a requirement.
> “Without confidentiality, autonomy is just a façade,” he notes. “TEEs provide the hardware root of trust to make autonomy real.”
With TEEs, AI agents can process sensitive data—such as financial inputs, personal identifiers, or proprietary models—without leaking it or becoming vulnerable to tampering. That’s the kind of assurance the decentralized future demands.

🔎 Solving the Oracle Problem with Verifiability
Another key insight from Dr. Feng? TEEs help solve the Oracle Problem—how to trust that AI outputs aren’t manipulated. TEEs support remote attestation, allowing anyone to verify that code executed securely, without interference.
This verifiability builds the foundation for agent accountability—a concept as crucial to Web3 as decentralization itself.

Autonomys Network:Guarding AI is guiding BLOCKCHAIN, Crypto, and Humanity with TODD RUOFFIn today's tech evolution AI can either empower or endanger society, visionary projects like #AutonomysNetwork with its native token #AI3 , and @DAOLabs , are stepping up to redefine what it means to build responsibly. Guarding AI also means guiding #blockchain and #crypto —because without trust, transparency, and decentralized control, AI becomes a risk, not a revolution. I was inspired when I read one of Todd Ruoff’s statements during an interview. He said: “Ethics is not a side conversation, but rather build it into everything we do.” That line struck me deeply. It reminded me that ethics isn’t something you just talk about — it’s something you live by. When we treat ethics as a core principle in everything we do, we give true meaning to our work and our words. Without that alignment, the concept of ethics becomes empty — a word we repeat, but never embody. What do they do? ✅To be fully open-sourced ✅ensures all technology can be audited, improved and challenged by the community ✅Commitment to decentralization ✅has full control over the application they built By combining open-source ethics, decentralized control, and verifiable AI memory and accountability, Autonomys is laying the groundwork for AI you can trust — and blockchain applications you can control. Why it matters? Most traditional AI systems are stateless and unaccountable — they act, but no one truly knows why, and no one takes responsibility. Autonomys flips that by giving agents identity, memory, and ethical boundaries, enforced through blockchain-backed transparency and community governance. Audit the Algorithm: Todd Ruoff’s Vision for Transparent, Accountable AI#AI is growing fast—but so are the risks. Power is concentrating, algorithms are black-boxed, and users are being left in the dark. That’s why Todd Ruoff, CEO of AutonomysNet, believes the future of AI must be open, transparent, and decentralized—and honestly, I couldn't agree more. In a recent interview with Authority Magazine, Todd broke down exactly what’s at stake. And as a social miner participating in the #Autonomys Hub via @DAOLabs , I found his approach not just refreshing—but necessary. He doesn’t treat ethics as a side note. It’s built into Autonomys from the protocol up. One core belief stood out: AI must be open-source and on-chain. Why? Because transparency isn’t a bonus—it’s the baseline. If no one can inspect how AI systems make decisions, there’s no way to call them fair or safe. That’s the danger of closed systems—no accountability. Autonomys solves this by recording every AI interaction immutably on-chain using its agentic framework. If an agent ever misfires, its logic trail is visible to all—no cover-ups. A great example is 0xArgu-mint, their AI debate agent. After community questions about how it reasons, they didn’t just patch things—they went transparent. Now it logs every single interaction and the AI’s own internal logic on-chain. That’s rare. That’s needed. That’s how you build trust. But technical transparency alone isn’t enough. Todd emphasizes that ethical AI also requires decentralization. The vision is bigger than just visibility—it’s about control. Autonomys is building infrastructure for Agentic AI that belongs to everyone, not just a few tech giants. That means censorship-resistant, verifiably fair, self-sovereign agents governed by communities—not CEOs. As someone active in #Web3 , this lands deeply for me. We’re not just theorizing about “safe AI”—we’re actually building systems where AI must explain itself, prove its decisions, and earn our trust. That’s the future I believe in. One where agents don’t just compute — they’re accountable. And if that’s where AI is headed, then Autonomys isn’t just participating—they’re leading. As a proud DAO Labs social miner, I’m excited to be part of something this important. Let’s keep building—openly, fairly, and together. #AI3 #SocialMining $ETH $BNB

Building Trust in the Age of Autonomous AIA couple of months into exploring Autonomys Network through #SocialMining on AutonomysHub, I discovered something fascinating about #AI transparency that most #Web3 projects miss entirely. Todd Ruoff's (CEO of Autonomy) journey from Wall Street executive to AI ethics advocate shows why blockchain-based artificial intelligence might be our best defense against algorithmic opacity. Ruoff's Authority Magazine interview reveals how traditional finance principles apply to AI governance. His key insight: you can't regulate what you can't audit. That's exactly what Autonomys Network addresses through their innovative approach to Agentic AI development. Take a look at their 0xArgu-mint agent - a witty debate participant that stores every conversation permanently on Autonomys blockchain. While other AI systems operate behind closed doors, this agent's complete reasoning process becomes part of an immutable public record. When AI makes decisions that affect real people, shouldn't we be able to examine exactly how those decisions formed? The technical foundation matters here. Autonomys Network's consensus mechanism uses the PoAS protocol called Dilithium, designed for compatibility with SSDs through frequent random reads of small data chunks. This energy-efficient approach makes transparent AI development economically viable for smaller teams, not just tech giants. Through the DAOLabs partnership, social miners, like myself, are building awareness around these concepts while earning rewards for community contributions. The collaboration demonstrates how decentralized communities can support complex technical projects that challenge established AI development patterns. Ruoff emphasizes that AI bias stems from flawed training data, making transparency essential for identifying problems before they scale. Open-source development allows community scrutiny that proprietary systems cannot provide. His philosophy can be seen in how Autonomys creates digital entities that learn and evolve while remaining fully auditable throughout their existence. The broader implication of this touches data sovereignty - Ruoff's vision where individuals control their digital identity rather than surrendering it to corporate platforms. As AI becomes more integrated with personal data, transparent frameworks like Autonomys become crucial for maintaining human agency in algorithmic decision-making. For crypto communities interested in #AI3 development, Autonomys represents practical progress toward ethical artificial intellther than theoretical discussions about responsible development.

Building Trust in the Age of Autonomous AI

A couple of months into exploring Autonomys Network through #SocialMining on AutonomysHub, I discovered something fascinating about #AI transparency that most #Web3 projects miss entirely.

DAO Labs ILO Experience🔥 Dear #BinanceSquareFamily readers, the $OM decline in the market, the $WCT price movements, and the strange movements on the $KERNEL side continue. Today, as part of #SocialMining , I wanted to write about #ILOs in @DAOLabs . 🔎 Hello everyone. Today, I will talk about the operation of the #ILO (Initial Labor Offering) model offered by DAO Labs. First of all, ILO is not a token distribution mechanism. It is a process that aims to implement the core values of Web3, transparent participation and rewards in return. The community is essential here. In this article, I will talk about my participation in the ILO process carried out by DAO Labs for @Autonomys Network , my experiences, and the opportunities offered by the platform. I will conclude in 3 stages. If you are ready, I will start. 📌 Entry to the Pledge Pool Previously, I was working on projects within DAO Labs as a social miner. When the Autonomys Network project came, I continued to receive the rewards I deserved by doing the same tasks. At this time, I was told that the Autonomys Network project was a new ILO and I was accepted to the Pledge Pool as a result of the evaluation made by the DAO Labs team. This process was based on criteria such as the quality of my previous contributions, my interaction with the community, and the quality of the content I produced. Then, the allocation rate that would be given to me was determined. It was a good motivation to know that the work I put in would directly affect my token allocation ( #AI3 ). This was enough to excite me from the very beginning. The most important thing here is that the content you produce is of high quality. Your exact allocation amount will be determined accordingly. In other words, I was aware that the more quality production I made, the better allocation I would earn. The biggest difference here is that it is a system focused on labor, far beyond the classic airdrop concept. 📌 The ILO Phase The tasks I had to do during the ILO process were determined over a 4 week period. The tasks I completed both provided me with information about the project and paved the way for me to connect more with the community. At the end of each task, I shared the content I produced with my followers. I exchanged ideas with the feedback I received from them. I did not only introduce the project through tweets, articles, visual content and threads that explained the vision of Autonomys Network. I also reflected my perspective on this project to the followers in front of me. Who does not want to work hard for a beautiful project? Time was passing quickly. I had completed the first 2 weeks of the 4 week process. I was sharing the screenshots I took from the pages where I submitted my tasks with the community around me. Since I had done social mining in the past, I had a friendly and reliable profile in the community. People not only saw my efforts, but also had the chance to follow how I experienced this process. 📌 Flexible Vesting The Flexible Vesting model in Autonomys Hub showed that ILO was just the beginning. This system spreads the token earnings I deserve over time, while keeping my interest and contribution to the project alive in the long term. In this way, I am not the first participant for the project, but also a community member who constantly supports it. Throughout the Vesting process, content continues to be produced for the community in the same way. At this stage, I guided new social miners who wanted to participate. If there were any issues they should pay attention to, I explained them. When I look at the basis of what I do, I can say that this is not just a job, but also the art of acting together with the community. If you believe in Social Mining, it will offer you long-term values beyond short-term gains. 👉 As a result, DAO Labs' ILO process is a turning point that changes the pre-sale culture in Web3 projects. Participants gain great rights thanks to a system based on knowledge and labor. Building the first community of strong projects like Autonomys in this way ensures a fair token distribution as well as the continuation of their own community in a permanent and productive manner. When I look back today, I did not just participate in an ILO process. I see myself as a social miner who has worked on many projects within the scope of social mining and has made great contributions to many issues. Being part of the community and sharing the same goals with them has always been a source of happiness for me. I think everyone should experience this pleasure. 🔥 Dear #BinanceSquareFamily readers, the $OM decline in the market, the $WCT price movements, and the strange movements on the $KERNEL side continue. Today, as part of #SocialMining , I wanted to write about #ILOs in @DAO Labs .
DAO Labs ILO Model Real contribution Real reward : My Autonomys ILO ExperienceI have been doing #SocialMining and producing content for different projects within the @DAOLabs ecosystem for a long time. During this process, I not only completed tasks, but also adopted being a part of the community. With RWA Inc., the first #ILO model of #DAOLabs , we had the opportunity to get to know the contribution-based distribution structure. This was a fair system based on the community, breaking the “pre-sale – investment” model we were used to in Web3. #AI3 #AutonomysNetwork Then, when the second ILO was announced for Autonomys, I encountered a more developed version of the system this time. Thanks to my previous activity in DAO Labs tasks, my content production on Autonomys Hub and my interaction with the community, I was selected for the Pledge Pool. No financial contribution or token purchase was made during this process. The selection process was entirely based on contribution, production and continuity. When the Autonomys ILO process started, I had to complete different tasks for four weeks in order to receive an allocation. These tasks; tweeting, retweeting, sharing explanatory content, preparing infographics and writing articles on Some Platforms. Thanks to the tasks, I not only introduced the project, but also had the chance to understand it better and share it more effectively with the community. Autonomys’ visionary approach such as artificial intelligence, verifiable decision-making, and distributed storage made content production more meaningful and motivating for me. Although the TGE has not yet taken place, information about how the vesting model will work was clearly shared at the beginning. The flexible vesting structure encourages those who contribute to the project to stay engaged throughout the process. This provides a more motivating experience in terms of long-term community support rather than just short-term reward expectations. This approach made me feel like a content producer, not just someone who does a task, but also a part of the project and contributes to its growth. As a result, we are experiencing that a contribution-based distribution system is really possible with DAO Labs’ ILO model. Seeing my labor being rewarded thanks to the Autonomys ILO process shows how valuable the participatory structure is in Web3. The fact that this model rewards contribution instead of investment can be inspiring for more projects in the future.

This was a fair system based on the community, breaking the “pre-sale – investment” model we were used to in Web3.
#AI3 #AutonomysNetwork
Then, when the second ILO was announced for Autonomys, I encountered a more developed version of the system this time.

My @DAOLabs #ILO Journey — Where Proof of Work Meets Purpose Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to dive deep into @DAOLabs innovative Initial Labor Offering (ILO)—specifically through the Autonomys campaign. As a committed Social Miner, this experience didn’t just shape my content creation—it reshaped my view of how Web3 contributions should be valued. My entry into the Pledge Pool was based entirely on my past work. No hype, no random picks. Just consistency, dedication, and proof. This earned me an allocation for the ILO, tied directly to my performance and efforts. Transparency and merit-based access? That’s how you build trust in a decentralized system. The #ILO phase was an intense but fulfilling grind. For two weeks straight, I focused on creating high-value content, educating people about @AutonomysNet and @DAOLabs . The results? All my posts received massive engagement and real community interaction. It wasn’t just about clout—it was about clarity, creativity, and contributing meaningfully to the growth of a decentralized AI infrastructure. Then came the magic behind the system: Flexible Vesting. Instead of a one-off reward, the value of our labor is vested over time. This model doesn’t just pay you—it keeps you connected. It reinforces a builder’s mindset and encourages consistent alignment with a project’s evolution. You’re not just earning; you’re evolving. DAO Labs’ ILO structure has proven to be more than just an incentive mechanism. It’s a full-blown decentralized work pipeline—rewarding real efforts, encouraging long-term commitment, and making Social Mining more than a task-based hustle. If #Web3 is about community, DAO Labs just showed us how to build one that works. #AI3 #SocialMining
