In today's on-chain governance, which is increasingly dependent on algorithms and automation, what truly makes a community 'alive' is often not more rigorous contracts but 'emotion' itself—it transcends addresses and code, bridging the most fragile yet most sincere trust between people. DAO leaders often say, 'Decentralization decentralizes power,' but they overlook: 'After power is decentralized, how do we use emotion to bring each other back together?' In this chapter, we will deeply analyze the critical role of 'emotion as consensus' from four dimensions: the power of emotion, the institutionalization of empathy, practical cases, and coaching reflections.
