Trump said he was already used to it. Someone attempted to create many similar rumors to break him and Musk apart, but these schemes did not succeed.
Trump revealed that Musk had called him to discuss this matter, and he expressed that he was certainly aware that someone was pulling strings behind the scenes. He cited an example where the media fabricated a 'breaking news' story claiming that Trump had relinquished presidential power and handed it over to Elon Musk, stating that 'President Musk will attend the cabinet meeting at 8 PM tonight.' The intent was too obvious, and those media were not skilled at slandering.
Musk, sitting beside him, frequently nodded in agreement with what Trump said.
Previously, the 'Department of Government Efficiency' led by Musk conducted investigations into several federal government departments, sparking controversy, and some media and Democrats criticized Musk; the phrases like 'President Musk' may be related to this.
