My first mining project!
I wanted to share some images, specs and information about my first mining project. I'm very happy with how it turned out and how well it worked. I hope it will be useful for others planning a small setup and will be of interest to those who are as passionate about amateur Bitcoin mining as I am.
It is a split chamber design, essentially two rooms, a "cold" room that houses the miners/racks/infrastructure, and a hot room that the miners exhaust into. This helps keep the miners cool and prevents hot air from circulating through the miners. The intake air to the cold chamber is filtered, which helps keep dust and moisture out. This design is good for the longevity of the equipment, but also helps with overall efficiency, as the miners consume less power when running cooler. This also makes for a more comfortable working environment, as temperatures are lower and the miners run relatively quietly (since the fans aren't spinning as fast).
