"Long-termism" or "getting rich overnight"?
In the cryptocurrency space, many people pursue maximizing short-term returns, while others pursue value investing. There is no absolute superiority or inferiority between these two methods. The key lies in the individual's positioning of the length of "life".
Successful investors are good at analyzing problems through probabilities rather than getting caught up in the right and wrong of investment strategies.
Value-oriented long-termism can significantly increase the probability of success, but at the cost of waiting anywhere from years to decades. This can be thought of as trading time for space. If your thinking is accustomed to "you will be drunk today," or there is serious uncertainty about the future, then value investing may not be suitable for you. Forcing yourself to try will make you more miserable, and the results are often more detrimental than worthwhile.
