OFAC flagged ten wallet addresses associated with two LockBit affiliates.
The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) listed numerous wallet addresses associated with two Russian individuals on its list of Specially Designated Nationals.
Artur Sungatov and Ivan Kondratyev face charges related to the deployment of ransomware and have ties to LockBit, a ransomware group that has reportedly stolen more than $120 million in ransom funds, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
Kondratiev serves as the leader of LockBit affiliates and affiliated subgroup National Hazard Society, while Sungatov is also actively involved in LockBit ransomware attacks and is an affiliate.
