Harris: Ready to debate Trump, but he seems to be holding back
U.S. Vice President Harris told reporters on Thursday after concluding her visit to Indiana and Texas that she was ready to debate former President Trump.

Harris noted that although Trump seemed hesitant about the Sept. 10 debate, which was originally scheduled to be hosted by ABC News, she was fully prepared and should let voters see the differences in the campaign.
"You've been asking me about the debate, and I'll tell you I'm ready to debate Donald Trump," Harris said. She stressed that she agreed to the previously agreed September 10 debate, and Trump had previously agreed to it, but now he seems to be backing off.
