Tether International Limited, the holding company behind the largest stablecoin $USDT , achieved a net profit of $4.9 billion in the second quarter.
According to the latest report from accounting firm BDO, the company held more than $162.5 billion in reserves against $157.1 billion in liabilities, which are $USDT tokens issued. This places excess reserves at $5.4 billion.
