What is Heima ($HEI)?
Heima Network is a Layer 1 blockchain developed to tackle the challenges of fragmented blockchain ecosystems by facilitating seamless multi-chain and cross-chain interoperability. Building upon the foundation of the Litentry Network, Heima incorporates advanced components that define its core infrastructure. These include a decentralized Identity Management Module for secure identity verification and a Security and Privacy Module leveraging Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) to protect transaction data.
Beyond identity management, Heima introduces an intent-based execution system, allowing users to conduct smooth cross-chain transactions across major blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Solana, and Polkadot. By connecting different ecosystems, Heima enhances accessibility for users and developers while reducing operational complexity, driving broader blockchain adoption.
For cross-chain asset management, Heima offers wallet abstraction, simplifying multi-chain asset control without requiring users to manually switch networks. Its chain abstraction services streamline asset transfers and trading while handling underlying technical processes. With a TEE-based infrastructure ensuring privacy-focused transactions, users maintain control over their data. By addressing data fragmentation, privacy risks, and inefficiencies in cross-chain interactions, Heima supports applications such as DeFi platforms, cross-chain trading, and digital asset management.
Heima was founded by Hanwen Cheng, a software engineer previously involved in Polkadot’s development. In 2020, he initiated work on the Litentry Network, built using the Substrate framework. By 2025, his focus had shifted toward chain abstraction, evolving Litentry into Heima Network to expand its capabilities.
$HEI serves as the native token of Heima Network and operates on Heima Parachain, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. While its primary utility is within Heima’s ecosystem, users can transfer HEI across networks through Heima’s bridge portal. It functions as both a governance and gas token, enabling users to participate in on-chain governance via the governance portal.
The total token supply is capped at 100 million, with a circulating supply of 66.45 million HEI, which was swapped from LIT at a 1:1 ratio. HEI is listed on Binance for trade and purchase. The current price of HEI is updated in real-time on Binance.
