In a recent development, the hackers suspected of launching an attack on Indexed Finance have reportedly made an attempt on Relevant, a news platform, as reported by on-chain detective ZachXBT. The attack occurred earlier this month, and it has been directed from an account with an address starting with 0x9b9.

Blockchain engineer Alex Chon is under suspicion as the likely owner of the 0x9b9 address. After accusations of being a North Korean hacker, Chon was dismissed by two respective teams. Moreover, Chon not only has a track record of frequently changing his Github username, but his current moniker is also "Holy Pengy," and he features a Pudgy Penguins profile picture.

As background, Indexed Finance, a cryptocurrency index platform, was targeted in a flash loan attack on October 15th, 2021. This incident led to a substantial asset loss of about US$16 million, making it one of the major cyber-attacks in the crypto world this year.
