According to Foresight News, the BNB Chain Wallet (BEW) browser extension is set to be officially discontinued on October 15, 2025. On this date, the extension will be removed from all extension stores. The discontinuation process will commence on September 15, 2025, after which BEW will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or support. By October 15, it will be completely withdrawn from extension stores.
Existing users may still access BEW, but they will do so at their own risk. To ensure a smooth transition, BEW users are advised to securely back up their seed phrases and private keys, save recovery information, uninstall BEW, and select a new wallet for future use.
