BSC Completes Maxwell Fork Upgrade, Transaction Speed Increased to 0.75 Seconds

According to Odaily Planet Daily, BSC has completed the Maxwell fork upgrade, increasing transaction speed to 0.75 seconds, enhancing network responsiveness, and optimizing validator performance. This upgrade includes three main proposals: BEP-524, BEP-563, and BEP-564.

The BEP-524 proposal introduces faster block intervals to achieve nearly instant transaction confirmations. The BEP-563 proposal enhances peer-to-peer messaging to reduce the risk of missed votes and synchronization delays, strengthening the validator consensus process.

The BEP-564 proposal introduces two new message types, including GetBlocksByRangeMsg and RangeBlocksMsg, to accelerate data synchronization across validator nodes.
