According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on June 30, the Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov, stated that Kazakhstan will establish a national reserve of crypto assets. The National Bank is studying the concept of forming and managing crypto reserves and plans to follow international best practices to ensure transparent accounting and storage. Confiscated crypto assets and the proceeds from state-participated crypto mining will become sources of the reserves. A centralized management agency will ensure the security of national crypto assets, and specific mechanisms will be developed in conjunction with law enforcement and relevant agencies.
