According to ChainCatcher, Franklin Templeton has obtained approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to launch its first tokenized fund in Singapore. The fund is issued and managed through a self-developed blockchain platform, aiming to improve the transparency and efficiency of asset management.

The fund is expected to be officially launched in the coming months and will be open to institutional and qualified investors. Franklin Templeton said it will continue to explore the application of blockchain and tokenization technology in asset management to meet investors' demand for innovative financial products.
