** You can save “Alpha events” on the Homepage by tapping [More] - Shortcut’s [Edit] button, then find “Alpha event” and tap the [+] button.

In order to participate on the Binance Alpha airdrops or exclusive TGEs, users need to confirm the claiming of their Alpha points on the event page.

3. When did this new mechanism come into effect?

The Alpha Points consumption mechanism was formally introduced on 13 May, 2025.

Time & Snapshot Rules

4. Why wasn’t my order included in my Alpha Points calculation for a specific date?

Alpha Points are calculated based on a daily snapshot at 23:59:59 (UTC). All transactions are recorded based on this time zone.

For example, if you're in UTC+8 and completed a transaction on 23 April at 02:00 (UTC+8), it will be recorded as a transaction completed on 22 April at 18:00 (UTC), and counted toward 22 April.

Point Expiry, Spending & Balance

5. Do Alpha Points expire automatically?

Yes. Alpha Points operate on a rolling 15-day cycle. Each Alpha Point will automatically expire exactly 15 days after the snapshot date.

6. When are points spent?

Alpha Points are spent immediately when you confirm participation in an Alpha event (e.g., Alpha airdrops or TGEs).

7. Can I choose whether to spend points on an airdrop?

Yes. Participation in any event is optional. You can choose whether or not to spend your Alpha Points.

8. What happens after an Alpha token gets listed for spot trading?

If an Alpha token gets listed for spot trading, transactions made after listing are not counted toward Alpha volume.

9. Does the wallet type matter for Alpha Volume tracking?

Yes. Only trades via Binance Wallet (Keyless) and Binance centralized exchange are eligible. If a wallet is imported or exported, its trading volume will not be counted toward Alpha volume. Please note that re-imported wallets are no longer considered keyless.

10. How is my daily Alpha Points balance calculated?

Your daily Alpha Points balance is calculated using a rolling 15-day window. This means that your balance consists of all points earned and spent over the past 15 days. Here's how it works:

Example breakdown:

  • 28 April - 12 May:
    • On 13 May, the 15-day window to review is between 28 April and 12 May.
    • Day 1 to Day 15: You earn 10 points per day from Day 1 to Day 10 and no points from Day 11 to Day 15, totaling 100 points.
    • Today (13 May): You spend 5 points, but your balance remains at 100 points on this day because the spending is reflected the next day.
  • 29 April - 13 May:
    • On 14 May, the points earned on 28 April expire as the rolling window moves forward. The 15-day window is now between 29 April and 13 May.
    • Day 1 to Day 15 (29 April - 13 May): You have 90 points remaining.
    • Today (14 May): The 5 points spent on 13 May are now reflected, reducing your balance to 85 points.
  • 30 April - 14 May:
    • On 15 May, the points earned on 29 April expire as the rolling window moves forward. The 15-day window is now between 30 April and 14 May.
    • Day 1 to Day 15 (30 April - 14 May): You have 75 points remaining.
    • Today (15 May): Your balance is now at 75 points.

Others

1. What are the Binance Alpha Points?

  • Binance Alpha Points is a scoring system designed to evaluate user activity within the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystem which determines user’s eligibility for campaigns, such as Token Generation Event (TGE) participation and Alpha token airdrops.

2. What are the Binance Alpha tokens?

  • Binance Alpha tokens refer to tokens that are featured under the Binance Alpha section under Binance Exchange and Binance Wallet. Binance Alpha was announced on 2024-12-17 as a platform designed to spotlight early-stage projects with potential to grow within the web3 ecosystem. Some tokens highlighted on Binance Alpha may be considered for future listings on Binance Exchange and Spot markets, while not guaranteed.

3. How are Binance Alpha Points calculated?

  • Binance Alpha Points are calculated daily based on the sum of the below two factors:
    • Balance Points: Your total assets holding on Binance Exchange (Spot listed tokens across all accounts and Binance Alpha account) and Binance Wallet (limited to Binance Alpha tokens and tokens available on Binance spot market only. Any tokens that are not supported in Binance Spot or Alpha trading , such as LSD tokens, are not considered eligible assets).
    • Volume Points: Your Alpha* token purchase volume through Binance Exchange and Binance Keyless Wallet combined.
  • Selling Alpha tokens does not affect points.
  • Your total Binance Alpha Points = the sum of your daily points combining Balance points and Volume points over the past 15 days.

4. How are the Balance Points calculated?

  • User’s balance points are calculated by tiers, which are based on the combined asset balance in your Binance Exchange (Spot listed tokens across all accounts and Alpha account) and Binance Wallet (limited to Binance Alpha tokens and tokens available on Binance spot market only). The tiers are:
    1. $100 to <$1,000 = 1 point/day
    2. $1,000 to <$10,000 = 2 points/day
    3. $10,000 to <$100,000 = 3 points/day
    4. $100,000 to and above = 4 points/day
  • Snapshot timezone: UTC

5. How are the Volume Points calculated?

  • Your Volume Points are based on the combined asset purchasing volume of Alpha Tokens in the Binance Exchange and Binance Keyless Wallet:
    • $2 → 1 point
    • $4 → 2 points
    • $8 → 3 points
    • $16 → 4 points
    • $32 → 5 points

Note: You’ll earn 1 additional point for each doubling of your purchase volume. For example, $64 = 6 points, $128 = 7 points, and so on.

6. Can I divide my $100,000 into multiple sub-accounts to earn more points on each account?

  • Only master accounts are eligible to earn Alpha Points. Sub-account balances are merged into the master account’s score. Splitting balances across separate accounts to gain more points is not allowed.

7. What exchange rate is used to calculate my balance and/or trade value?

  • Alpha token values are measured using the USD-equivalent market price at the time of the trade. This ensures fair and consistent point tracking.

8. If I buy $600 worth of tokens and sell $500 later. Do I still get Volume Points for the $600?

  • Yes. The token purchasing mechanic tracks your purchase volume, not your current holdings. So you’ll be credited for the full $600 worth of Alpha you bought, even if you sell some later.
