Tornado Cash 101: What Every Crypto Holder Should Know #TornadoCash is a decentralized mixing protocol on #Ethereum that breaks the on-chain link between sender and receiver addresses, making transactions significantly harder to trace. How it works: Users deposit a fixed amount of $ETH or tokens into a smart contract pool. When withdrawing, they use cryptographic proofs to prove they deposited without revealing which deposit was theirs. The funds go to a fresh wallet with no transaction history connecting it to the original address. The regulatory saga: In August 2022, OFAC sanctioned Tornado Cash, the first time the US government sanctioned open-source code rather than a person or entity. The reasoning: over $7B had flowed through the protocol, including funds from North Korean hackers. The plot twist: In 2024, a federal court ruled that OFAC overstepped its authority. Smart contracts are immutable code, not "property" that can be owned by a foreign national. The sanctions were lifted. Why this matters for you: Understanding mixers isn't about using them, it's about understanding on-chain privacy, regulatory boundaries, and how blockchain analysis works. When you see "funds moved through Tornado Cash" in hack reports, you'll know exactly what that means. On-chain analysis insight: Despite mixing, analysts can still identify patterns through deposit/withdrawal timing, gas fees, and behavioral clustering. Privacy isn't absolute: it's a spectrum. Knowledge is alpha.

The U.S. Military Lost Track of $4.65 TRILLION The Pentagon failed its audit for the 8th year in a row. Yes, 8 times straight. Here's what they can't properly account for: → $4.65 trillion in assets → $4.73 trillion in liabilities → 26 major problems found in their books 🔹 They don't even know where all the spare parts are for their most expensive fighter jets. 🔹 The Pentagon is the ONLY big government agency that has never passed an audit. 🔹 They say they'll fix it by 2028. But they've been saying that for years. The same government that asks crypto companies for full transparency cannot track its own trillions. Think about that.
