๐ณ A Chinese bank just FROZE two accounts simply because someone wrote โDogecoinโ in a transfer note!
According to Foresight News, a couple in China sent each other just 250 yuan, adding the note โDogecoin this weekโ.
And boom โ China Construction Bank instantly triggered its โvirtual currency controlโ system ๐ฑ
The couple then got calls from the bank:
๐ โConfirm your relationship.โ
๐ โExplain why you mentioned Dogecoin.โ
The result?
๐ Their accounts were switched to โno deposit, no withdrawalโ โ zero access to their own money.
To unfreeze it, the husband is being forced to:
๐ provide months of bank statements
๐๏ธ sign a declaration saying he has never and will never engage in crypto-related transactions.
But proving that a transfer note โis not crypto-relatedโ is nearly impossible โ leaving people with only one option: closing their accounts ๐คฏ
A bank employee even admitted:
๐ฌ โIf the payment note says โDogecoinโ, it automatically triggers control.โ
