The previous figure was revised from 228,000 to 229,000. Additionally, the Producer Price Index (PPI) for April recorded an annual rate of 2.4%, marking the third consecutive monthly decline and the lowest level since September of the previous year. The monthly PPI for April showed a decrease of 0.5%, the lowest since April 2020, significantly below the market expectation of a 0.2% increase.
