In essence, Abstract are their antithesis, they originaly planed to do the same, but ended up wrong - no liquidity, apps are weird, no multi-chain
They fkd up - stuck inside the ecosystem and can't establish communication with builders/KOLs AND not atracting anyone from outside
Base built different
Unlike Abstract, which didn't work out, base has its own thriving ecosystem, and funnels are being set up from other chains. Here's what they're doing now:
- On September 5, they launched a native bridge from SOL to $BASE. Amidst the hype surrounding the token launch, they are giving users the opportunity developers migrate their applications
- Zora hinted supporting $SOL today. So solana authors, builders, creators, NFT collections will be able to create their own Creator Coins. What's next?
We're waiting for creators from other ecosystems. #Monad ? #Hyperliquid ? Everyone will have their own creator coin on Base
- Zora is an ecosystem. And Farcaster is an ecosystem
In short, even if in some parallel world Base failed (wtf), they still have ecosystems at their disposal that will be sustainable (well, at least they'll have a chance)

Походження та команда
Проєкт створив Кевін Туан, колишній керівник групи у Web3-підрозділі Jump Trading.
Його досвід — це:
високочастотний трейдинг,
низьколатентні системи,
глибинна оптимізація обчислень.
Це важливо: Monad будувався не як черговий “ефірний клон”, а як блокчейн із новою архітектурою виконання транзакцій.
Навколо нього зібралася команда з фінтеху, HFT, децентралізованих систем.
Фокус один: зняти обмеження послідовної обробки транзакцій, які десятиліттями гальмували EVM-ланцюги.
Технологічна суть Monad
Ключова ідея — паралельне виконання транзакцій.
У звичайній EVM:
транзакції обробляються строго одна за одною,
навіть якщо вони не конфліктують між собою.
У Monad:
транзакції виконуються паралельно,
блоки створюються кожні ~0,4 секунди,
фіналізація — близько 0,8 с,
пропускна здатність — 5 000–10 000 TPS.
Це значно швидше, ніж:
Base: 2 сек/блок, ~150 TPS
BNB Chain: 0.75 сек/блок, ~200 TPS

Проєкт створив Кевін Туан, колишній керівник групи у Web3-підрозділі Jump Trading.
Його досвід — це:

Це важливо: Monad будувався не як черговий “ефірний клон”, а як блокчейн із новою архітектурою виконання транзакцій.

Технологічна суть Monad
Ключова ідея — паралельне виконання транзакцій.
У звичайній EVM:
транзакції обробляються строго одна за одною,
навіть якщо вони не конфліктують між собою.
У Monad:
транзакції виконуються паралельно,
блоки створюються кожні ~0,4 секунди,
фіналізація — близько 0,8 с,
пропускна здатність — 5 000–10 000 TPS.
Це значно швидше, ніж:
Base: 2 сек/блок, ~150 TPS
BNB Chain: 0.75 сек/блок, ~200 TPS
Чисті цифри виглядають дуже агресивно.
Фандинг і хайп
2022 — дебютна демонстрація технології: спільнота вперше побачила, що послідовність EVM — це не закон природи.
2023 — Monad Labs підняли $225 млн інвестицій.
