Companies specializing in bitcoin DAT have been at the center of attention for all the wrong reasons of late. A sharp pullback in the market and a precipitous 40% drop in the share price of Strategy (MSTR), the world's largest corporate holder of bitcoin, has many reassessing the fundamental soundness of the DAT model. Some even warn of an imminent "bitcoin treasury bubble."
But Chun argues the opposite.

The Four DAT Archetypes

Chun classifies today's bitcoin DATs into four groups:

Hybrid DATs: DATs that treat BTC as core but still run parallel non-BTC businesses.
