As promised, we are going to BRING IT with incredible shipping speed.
I am happy to announce that @Agglayer v0.3 is live now.
What does this new launch enable? Until today, only Agglayer-CDK chains could connect. This release expands the pessimistic proof, breaking down the walls for ANY NON-CDK CHAIN to securely connect to Agglayer, starting with Polygon PoS.
CDK chains like @Katana, will be the first ones to use the new mode for pessimistic proof. By the end of Q3, it will extend support for more chains to connect, like Polygon PoS, and you will see how everything comes together.
Follow me for more announcements before the next major Agglayer release (v0.4) that will bring sub 10-second secure crosschain transactions.
This brings us one step closer towards fast interop. I will not stop until we aggregate everything!!!
It’s incredible to look back and see how far we’ve come—just three underdogs in India (JD @jdkanani, Anurag @anuragarjun and myself) with a wild idea. What began as a long shot has grown into something real. Something big. The journey’s had its share of twists and turns, but one thing has always been constant: Polygon is special because people keep showing up.
Crypto payments are no longer a theory or a pilot program. They are here, and Polygon is proving that every single day. The old story was that blockchains couldn’t handle real transaction volume without breaking UX or fees.
But Polygon is settling payments at scale, quietly becoming the chain of choice for merchants, platforms, and payment providers. This isn’t a side quest, it’s the main event, and it’s accelerating fast. Hop on the payments train.
Fragmentation is harmful to web3 beyond just Ethereum. We’re not going to get to mass adoption when the crosschain experience is this confusing and this expensive. @Agglayer is being designed with these issues in mind.
This attack vector is horrifying and shook me up as in last 24 hours 2-3 ppl called me on Telegram asking if I was on zoom call with them and am I asking them to install a script.
Here's how the scammers are running this attack vector: 1. They hacked the TG of Polygon Ventures lead "Shreyansh" 2. They ping all the portcos and potential portcos who ever interacted with Shreyansh and ask to reconnect 3. Founders, specially the ones looking to gear up for their next round, book the meetings 4. They are asked to join a zoom call which has polygon.zoomxxxxxx, but they can only join the call on a desktop 6. On the call, appearantly there is a deepfake of Me, Shreyansh and some other woman disguised as fund team member 7. The audio is disabled and since your voice is not working, the scammer asks you to install some SDK, if you install game over for you.
‼️NEVER EVER install any stuff in your laptop during an interaction initiated by other person. If you initiated a service call on something, then it might be fair. ‼️But these attacks keep getting more and more sophisticated, so best approach is to keep a separate laptop for signing via your wallets only from that laptop and never do anything else on that wallet.
Pleased to announce a very exciting product for Agglayer Chains: VaultBridge!
Web3 doesn’t need more extractive blockchain models and inflationary emissions games. We need more sustainable yield models to build lasting value and achieve mainstream adoption.
This is what VaultBridge enables–letting chains build for long-term success, not short-term TVL stats. VaultBridge was built for @Agglayer, providing new and existing L2s with a built-in revenue stream, designed to enable a more sustainable economic model for chains.
It’s customisable for chains (and configurable to give users the ability to opt-in/opt-out), yield-generating, open to anyone, and now available for integration.
VaultBridge is powered by @MorphoLabs vaults, with curation by @gauntlet_xyz and @SteakhouseFi! Real yield, no value extraction, and free to integrate on Agglayer.
Excited to see this shipping for builders looking to utilize new yield-generating strategies!
Great work to all the teams involved.
For anyone wondering, Polygon PoS will not use VaultBridge.
Today we’re adding OP Stack to CDK, a new way to build aggregated chains with native Agglayer interop.
When we first launched CDK, it was built with the understanding that developers needed freedom to choose the tools that fit their use case, without sacrificing UX, security or composability.
CDK unlocked a new level of scale.
And when @Agglayer became native to CDK, the vision of a unified web3 accelerated. Launching a CDK chain became the easiest path into tapping the network effects of an aggregated environment.
But if we want to aggregate everything, we have to work with everything. Every chain, every stack, equally plugged in.
That’s why I’m thrilled to announce the CDK OP Stack configuration, with native Agglayer interop.
It joins our existing CDK Erigon (deployed with @gateway_eth), to give developers the freedom to build with familiar tools, zk security, and the ability to connect to Agglayer with zero rent.
Thanks to @conduitxyz, CDK OP Stack chains will be equipped with Conduit’s G2 sequencer and can sustain throughput up to 100 Mgas/s (~4,700+ TPS).
Multistack CDK means builders get real optionality and unification, and this is just the first of many additional stacks to come.
CDK + Agglayer will continue to unite the entire web3 ecosystem into a single environment that feels like the Internet users know. Cut out the noise of all other ecosystems, and you’ll see why Agglayer is the most scalable way to unify liquidity and state.
First chain deployed with this new CDK OP Stack is launching sooner than you think 👀
@0xPolygon Labs is breaking down walls and deploying more open-source software for the next, new internet.
