🚨NEW: Two attendees of Trump’s crypto VIP reception and dinner last night shared that while the food was good, they were disappointed by the lack of meaningful interaction with the president.
They had hoped for more access and perhaps even a Q&A session for the top wallet holders, but instead, the speech was essentially a reiteration of the U.S.'s goal to become the global leader in crypto.

This year’s conference was a full-circle moment for me. I still remember the first panel I watched at my very first Consensus in 2022 — @dan_pantera and @novogratz on Mainstage being interviewed by @zackseward. Back then, I had just started writing about crypto regulation for @FoxBusiness with @CGasparino. I took a few days off and flew out to Austin solo to learn more about the space and make connections.
Fast forward three years, and I’m the one interviewing Dan on Mainstage.
Grateful for this industry and for the opportunities it has blessed me with. 🙏🏼
