Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum has firmly rejected Donald Trump’s suggestion to allow U.S. military strikes against drug cartels inside Mexico, stating:

“That will not happen.”

She emphasized that while Mexico is open to cooperation and intelligence sharing with the United States, any operations on Mexican soil will remain strictly under Mexican control.
