Fake Chrome Extension Masquerading as an Ethereum Wallet

GoPlus has issued a critical security warning about a malicious Chrome extension named “Safery: Ethereum Wallet.”

• Poses as a secure Ethereum wallet

• Steals user assets by embedding mnemonic phrases into Sui transactions

• Uses micro-transactions from an attacker-controlled Sui wallet to mask the theft

The extension is still active on the Chrome Web Store.
