Nasdaq has filed with the SEC to allow tokenized stocks and ETFs to trade alongside their traditional counterparts, with settlement potentially moving onchain by late 2026.
The proposal comes as Congress drafts tokenization rules and Wall Street firms ramp up interest in bringing real-world assets onchain under existing investor protections.
